Return To Google Adwords

A few days has passed and I have decided to return to adwords. This time I have a limit of $5.00 a day and 5 keywords. Or I should say keyword phrases. Instead of choosing popular words I strung together a few words that people might choose to advertise my site. I'll see if it works.

More Problems

First website I created for my affiliate programs looked great. No ads all over the place, and banners and all that. It was clean and simple. Looked really business like. Only after I put up my articles, prettied up the website do I see that it is taking 20 or 30secs to over 1 minute or more to load. You have to figure if someone is impatient they will just leave. And even if there not impatient they might think that the website is not working anymore because it is taking so very long to load. I moved my page to blogger til i can get a site for it. Also with that stupid site, I realize there is no html to configure and put in adsense. That alone had me steaming. Because I read the FAQ to get all the info before I built my site and they talked about adsense. Yet they don't bother to ad that the ability to ad that will be (coming soon) UGH.

NOW, I wake up and find a great free site. No banners and ads and everything and it looks clean and business like. Only problem? I now have to move my site over there. All this in 2 days, it's too much. I really don't want to give up on this. I've done other things that were hard and stuck with them. I now have some successful websites and earn an income off them but this is ridiculous.

Adwords was a dream, now a nightmare

I started out with Dentalplans because I had used it and I realized that many people have no insurance so a lot of them would need this product. Since I used it and like it, I felt good about offering the services to others. I started advertising with adwords. I used a set of keywords, put my daily dollar limit to $5.00, my keywords at a maximum of $0.50 and went to bed. I woke up to 2 sales a total of $80 my FIRST DAY. I was so very excited I couldn't believe it actually worked. Then I went to check out adwords account. It only updated every few hours so it was still saying $0 charged to my account. I completely forgot that it might not be right that I have to wait a few more hours and see. So I'm thinking I wasn't charged anything and so I raised the price of the keywords. Next two days nothing, barely any clicks on ads and no revenue. I was back to disappointment.

Another 2 days went by still nothing. Just that $80 staring back at me. I went again to adwords account to see that almost all of my keywords were disabled because my price wasn't high enough. I raised the prices and raised them until most were at 8 or 9 dollars a PIECE. I also had to raise daily limit to $30. Now 3 days later I had to pause adword advertising because I still only have $80 from 2 sales and I now owe adwords $98. So I lost money instead of gaining. I'm off to find another way to advertise. This has slowly turned into a nightmare. Only a week and I'm ready to call it quits. I knew it would be hard but wow this is ridiculous.

No traffic

So I am an affiliate, with my own page. I even signed up to adwords. Only problem, no traffic. None at all and I don't know how to go about getting it. Adwords isn't doing it at all for me and I don't know what on earth to do next.

My program sent me an email and I've been accepted to be an affiliate, I have checked out many sites about becoming an affiliate and what is the best way to get traffic and a web site to host. This is getting to be more difficult than I first realize but I will keep up with it and hope it pays off.

Pick an affiliate now the waiting game

Well I pick an affiliate and I'm still waiting for them to pick me, lol. Hopefully they choose me so I can begin. But in the mean time I'm going to look around and see what I can do to get traffic and stuff like that. Have I mentioned that I don't know what I'm doing? Cause I don't.

I decided to go with an electronic affiliate and a weight loss one. I'll let you know how it goes. I don't feel very confident about this, but oh well.

I am concentrating on 3 high commissions affiliates right now. I am getting more info seeing if they really pay there affiliates and if they are very good.

I have been thinking for ages on becoming an affiliate, but I never do. So now I'm finally taking some time and researching the best affiliate programs and learning more of what I need to do, such as advertising, and getting it out there.
